Initially I thought it in poor taste to do a painting about the near tragedy

“Sebring Orange Dream” is a watercolor featuring my 2021 Corvette parked outside a store on Duval Street in Key West

I’ve done web research on Sandy’s and found a lot of different locations to authenticate the colors I’ve used in the painting

I did use some artistic license to arrange the color sequence in an aesthetic manner with warmer colors placed closer to the viewer

I actually owned and enjoyed driving one of these beauties for several years
