Again, I don't really care for Lotus Petal and don't run it in my decks just like the Ritual but those are times when it makes sense, two-drop nice Commander, storm or artifact synergies
As long as this creature has three or more +1/+1 counters on it, it can attack as though it didnt have defender
Cards like OP07-105-pythagoras, OP07-111-lilith, OP07-098-atlas are playable through their trigger effects
And if toughness is your goal, you need some of the highest-toughness cards out there like Unhallowed Phalanx, Charix, the Raging Isle, and Kharis & the Beholder (that last one not being legal for tournament play)
