Amazing work by Kendall Hale
Even if Wizards has increased print runs, Id still expect the Final Fantasy drops to sell out
It's really bad for your mana and a tiny bit of lifegain doesn't offset that
From a competitive standpoint, this seems to give Amber/Sapphire a bit of an edge over Emerald/Ruby, particularly when played against one another
To determine a spell's total cost, start with the mana cost (or an alternative cost if another card's effect allows you to pay one instead), add any cost increases (such as kicker), then apply any cost reductions
However, if you do and the target is illegal as the ability tries to resolve, it won't resolve and none of its effects will happen
