Edgar Markov decks are flexible because of its Eminence ability, so protecting the Vampire Knight isn't necessarily as vital as with other Commander strategies
But overall, it's a very versatile card and works great in the 99 of most white decks for its extreme utility in a pinch
While I don't think Honored Knight-Captain is an auto-include in equipment decks in Commander, especially if you are playing a lower-bracket deck or a budget build, I think it's a reasonable option for adding multiple bodies to the battlefield to equip to while also potentially finding your best equipment in a given situation
The deck naturally becomes difficult to attack into, while still applying steady pressure
This can be two direct downsides to the player who needs to make the Villainous Choice, or can be a benefit to you, which also negatively impacts them in the way that its benefitting you
The rest of the deck is the usual ramp / card draw / removal / protection / yadayada
